The most common problem with a risk assessment is not writing it — it is that the control measures never leave the document. In VITS every measure becomes an item in the action plan with an owner and a deadline, and a finished assessment produces position-based instructions that you send to employees for confirmation like any other instruction.
What you can do
- The right scope — the whole company, a department or a profession.
- Hazards from a library or your own — you do not start from zero every time.
- Risk level from a matrix — likelihood by severity, separately before and after control measures.
- A measure becomes an action the moment the hazard is saved — owner, deadline and an automatic email.
- Position-based risk assessments — on completion each profession gets its own instruction, which the employee confirms. That is how the employer’s duty to present the results gets done, without a separate meeting and a round of signatures.
- A progress bar shows how far the assessment has got.
- Copy last period and choose what happens to the earlier measures.
- Photos on hazards and on control measures.
- Remote-work checklist — the employee assesses their own workplace, attaches photos, and a PDF is generated from the answers.
