Knowing that someone has been trained is one thing. Being able to show a certificate that is still valid is another. In VITS you describe the qualifications you need once, and from then on you can see at any moment who holds them, who is missing them, and which ones are about to expire.
What you can do
- Describe a competency once — title, description, category and validity period in years.
- Link the competency to a profession, so you can see immediately who lacks a required qualification.
- Grant it manually or automatically — completing a linked course grants the competency by itself.
- A certificate as proof — a file, the certificate number and the issuer with every assignment.
- Expiry is calculated automatically from the acquisition date and the validity period, and the period can be adjusted for an individual employee.
- A reminder about two months ahead, so there is time to renew.
- Change history — every competency keeps a record of what changed and when, along with earlier certificates.
- Employees see their own competencies in the portal and can download their certificates.
